What does our ISO Certification mean for you as our current or future client?

Read more about our achievement of three new ISO Standards – ISO/IEC 27001:2013, ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and ISO 22301:2019 – and what they mean for you.
As you may have seen from our recent announcement, Zacco is proud to be able to share our recent achievement of three new ISO Standards – ISO/IEC 27001:2013, ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and ISO 22301:2019. These focus on the areas of Information Security, Information Privacy and Business Continuity and cover our Cyber Defence Centre, our Digital Forensics team in Sweden and all relevant IT systems.
Quality continues to remain at the forefront of how we operate and we believe that our hard work and international recognition speaks for itself. However, these standards were important to us because they demonstrate something more than just opinion or word or mouth, they demonstrate an independently certified commitment to quality and to international best practice. We believe that operating at the highest standards achievable offers evidence to our clients that protecting their intellectual property and the security of their networks or systems will remain our top priority as we continue to grow as an organisation.
You may also have seen that these international standards are quite comprehensive, requiring documentation and demonstration from Zacco of over 200 controls and 600 pieces of evidence over the three locations. All of which was necessary to adhere to the strict requirements of the accrediting and assessment bodies. Having now achieved the standards we wanted to offer some insight into what they would mean for you as our current and future clients as well as how they create additional value and Digital Trust as part of our service offering.
As suggested, the standards demonstrate our belief that only the highest level of quality is acceptable in everything that we do. We will strive to handle your information appropriately, responsibly and securely and we endeavour to prepare for the unexpected. This is a corporate promise and the new certification is a demonstration of our commitment to that fact.
A significant part of adhering to such high standards is the commitment to continual auditing of our systems and processes. It is not enough to pass the certification once; we will regularly be required to demonstrate our adherence to the quality standards as they are set out in the ISO assessment. This means that we will continuously strive for improvement of both our processes and our systems wherever possible, adapting where necessary to maintain the high standards and top quality work that an evolving market demands and that our clients have come to expect from us.
It should also be worth acknowledging that, as a client, you may not notice any difference in your day-to-day interactions with Zacco. There may be an increase in security when accessing your information within our systems but ultimately most of the standards cover internal networks, processes and systems that control the successful functioning of much of what goes on behind the scenes. These include our information control systems, our underlying IT infrastructure, our business continuity risk management systems and our incident response processes.
Although you might not see the changes directly, this means that we have robust and rigorously assessed systems in place that are designed to mitigate potential risks to your private information wherever possible. We are committed to maintaining comprehensive business continuity processes to safeguard your uninterrupted access. We have also implemented a number of restrictions when accessing our systems and our Cyber Defence Centre now routinely monitors all incoming, outgoing and internal data traffic, 24/7/365 as part of protecting your IP rights.
Our commitment to information security, information privacy and business continuity is ongoing and will continue to be independently verified. We will work hard to maintain your Digital Trust as we believe that part of feeling secure is knowing that those who handle your information are doing so responsibly. These ISO standards will be the cornerstone of our continued expansion, ensuring that we never lose sight of our commitment to quality and improving the value that we can offer to you, our current and future clients.
